On your side since 1902

The Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology (SICB) is one of the largest and most prestigious professional associations of its kind. Members of the Society have broad research interests ranging from organismal biology of plants and animals to population biology/ecology to behavior, systematics, evolutionary biology, and molecular biology. Originally founded in 1902 by the merging of two societies as the American Society of Zoologists, the name was changed in 1996 to reflect the scientific breadth, integrative approaches, and interests of its membership across all disciplines of biology.

Please note:  The SICB Membership year starts on July 1 and ends on June 30.
