The Department of Biological Sciences at California State University Long Beach seeks a visiting lecturer to teach a one-semester lecture and lab course in invertebrate zoology in Spring 2025 (21 Jan-17 May), and possibly in subsequent semesters. We are close to the coast and have access to a research vessel, making both intertidal and offshore fieldtrips easy. We have staff to support collection and care of live specimens for the course. If desired, additional teaching assignments for the semester can also be requested from the Department Chair. This is a great opportunity for a postdoc or advanced PhD student looking for instructor of record teaching experience at a primarily undergraduate institution.
