Jonusaite lab is inviting a PhD student to start in September 2025, January 2026, or September 2026 to study epithelial barrier physiology in relation to blood feeding in disease vector mosquitoes. The project will span a suit of techniques offered in the lab, including molecular biology, protein biochemistry, fluorescence and electron microscopy, electrophysiology, and functional assays. There will be opportunities to collaborate with the University of Washington Department of Biology.
