University of Konstanz, Germany – PhD position: Characterising biological active-sensing swarms in the field

Posted on April 3, 2025

I just started the ‘Active Sensing Collectives’  research  group at the University of Konstanz. We study how active-sensing agents like echolocating bat and robot swarms could show collective behaviour despite the sensory & motor challenges being in a group presents.

I’m advertising a PhD position on the multi-sensor study of echolocating bat groups in the field. More info and link to the application portal can be found on the lab page. Deadline for applications is May 25th 2025.

I’m also available for informal queries at thejasvi.beleyur@uni-konstanz.de
