The University of Jamestown is seeking a broadly trained organismal biologist to serve as a full-time faculty member in the Department of Biology. The position is scheduled to begin in the fall of 2024.
Minimum requirements:
- Master’s degree in biology or a related field
- Passion for excellence in teaching.
Preferred requirements:
- Terminal degree in biology or a related field
- Previous higher education teaching experience
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will teach human anatomy and physiology and other classes depending on interest, expertise, and the needs of the department, possibly including:
- Vertebrate Zoology
- Medical Terminology
- Introduction to Biology
- Science class for non-majors (topic TBD)
- Histology
