St. John Fisher University, an independent, liberal arts institution in the Catholic tradition located in Rochester, New York, seeks nominations and applications for a tenure track assistant professor in Biology to begin Fall 2023.
Applicants should have a strong commitment to inclusive teaching practices and undergraduate research. The successful candidate’s primary teaching responsibilities will include General Biology III (ecology, animal behavior, population genetics, and environmental science) and possibly General Biology II (organismal biology), with possible contributions to science courses in the areas of ecology, environmental science, sustainability, and/or earth science. Applicants should have an earned Ph.D. in a related field and post-doctoral experience is valued.
