Illinois State University: Paid Student Positions

Posted on October 6, 2021
Expires: January 06, 2022

Come join our team as we work to understand how changing climates will affect turtles with temperature-dependent sex determination. Dr. Rachel Bowden and Dr. Ryan Paitz have been awarded a 5 year NSF grant to explore the mechanisms underlying how transient exposure to warm and cool temperatures trigger gonadal development. We are looking for two graduate students (Masters or PhD) to start in August 2022. You would be joining a school at Illinois State University that is supportive and collaborative. If interested, please contact Drs. Bowden (rmbowde@ilstu.edu) and Paitz (rpaitz@ilstu.edu). We highly encourage first-generation students and students from groups historically underrepresented in STEM fields to apply.
