The Department of Biological Sciences (DBS) at Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Climate Change Ecologist at the rank of Assistant Professor. Successful candidates may have research focusing on climate change on population, community, or landscape ecology, microbial ecology, or eco-evolutionary dynamics. Preferred applicants will complement programmatic strengths in marine, coastal, freshwater, or wetland ecology and can take advantage of research opportunities in local ecosystems.
The candidate should have a strong record of research accomplishments, demonstrated potential for extramural funding, and a commitment to excellence in education. This position will also teach undergraduate and graduate courses in ecology and in areas of their expertise that meet programmatic needs.
