The Department of Biology at Bryn Mawr College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Neuroscience, broadly defined, to begin August 1, 2024. We are seeking an individual who will thrive in an environment that combines teaching, research, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and teaching of a diverse and inclusive undergraduate curriculum, including interdisciplinary programs and other college-wide initiatives such as the 360 Program and the Emily Balch Seminars. Specific responsibilities include upper-level courses in cellular and molecular neurobiology and the candidate’s area of expertise that will support the Biology and Neuroscience majors, as well as participation in our introductory biology sequence. In addition, the successful candidate will also be expected to maintain an externally funded research program that involves undergraduate students from diverse backgrounds. A Ph.D. and at least one year of post-doctoral research experience are required by the start date.
