Assistant Professor of Instruction in Organismal Biology

The Department of Biological Sciences at Ohio University (https://www.ohio.edu/cas/biosci/) seeks a full-time Assistant Professor of Instruction in Organismal Biology. Primary teaching responsibilities of the position may include non-majors and major’s biology courses in Animal Diversity, Introductory Biology, Field Ecology, and depending on the applicant’s expertise, Wildlife Habitat Management, Animal Ecology or Herpetology. Opportunities for mentoring undergraduate research may also be possible. The successful applicant should have demonstrated ability in scientific writing, data analysis in R, and handling vertebrates.

Ph.D. in Biological Sciences or a relevant field and demonstrated commitment to teaching.
