ROLE of the POSITION
The School of Life Sciences at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for an Assistant Professor (tenure-track). The successful applicant will have already established or show potential to establish a leading edge extramurally funded research program in NEUROPHYSIOLOGY. The ideal candidate will use an integrative approach to study neurophysiology in any system, spanning comparative organismal physiology through genomics and will complement current interests in the School. Faculty members are expected to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and maintain a vigorous, externally-funded research program. The candidate should have potential to collaborate with other UNLV institutes or colleges, such as the recently created Interdisciplinary Neuroscience PhD program.
