Description: The Department of Biology has a full-time contract position of Assistant Lecturer or Assistant Teaching Professor of Biology available for the 2022-2023 academic year. Primary responsibilities include teaching Introductory Biology, Anatomy, and Physiology courses.

Department/Institution Information: Ball State University is located in Muncie, Indiana, on an attractive campus 45 miles northeast of Indianapolis. Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in the biological sciences or related field from an accredited institution is required for the title of Assistant Lecturer; effective written and oral communication skills; commitment to excellence in teaching as demonstrated by a teaching statement and/or teaching evaluations.
Preferred Qualifications: Earned doctorate in the biological sciences from an accredited institution is required for the title of Assistant Teaching Professor; demonstrated teaching ability and/or evidence of scholarly activity, as demonstrated by student evaluations or by publications.
