Animal Physiologist

A tenure-track assistant professor position in the Department of Biology at West Chester University of Pennsylvania is available starting August 2024.  An earned doctorate in biology, physiology or neurobiology, or related discipline is required.  Candidates must be qualified to teach Human Anatomy and Physiology, as well as introductory level biology and upper division and graduate courses in the candidate’s area of expertise.  Preference is given to candidates who conduct research in the area of sensory biology.  Individuals who focus on ichthyology and/or vertebrate biology are also encouraged to apply.  The successful candidate is expected to establish an active, externally funded research program involving both graduate and undergraduate students.  Of special interest are candidates who can further the University’s mission to foster diversity, equity and inclusion.
