The SICB elections closed on June 8, 2012 after being open for one month. A total of 396 votes for society-wide officers were counted or 19.2% of the eligible voters.
The SICB bylaws amendment for the structure of the Broadening Participation Committee passed (335 for, 5 against, 59 abstentions). The DNB bylaws changes also passed (33 for, 0 against, 9 abstentions).
