Evaluation? “The systematic investigation of the worth or merit of an object.” How do we go about evaluating the merit of our instructional programs? What are the techniques and procedures we can use to find out what’s really happening—before, during, and after we initiate education reform? During this presentation, you will get an overview of what it means to evaluate a whole instructional program, what it takes to convince our colleagues, administrators, funding agencies, and ourselves that our efforts in science education reform are making a difference.
