Position Summary |
The Department of Biology at SUNY Geneseo invites applications for a tenure track faculty position of Assistant Professor of Biomedicine to begin in August 2025. We seek someone with a strong commitment to teach in a liberal arts setting and to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds. The teaching responsibilities will include courses in the general area of Human Biology including Anatomy and Physiology, non-majors Human Biology, and Nutrition, or Immunology.
The candidate is expected to instruct non-majors, introductory, and advanced courses. The successful candidate will develop a productive research program that includes undergraduate students and generates scholarly products appropriate to their subdiscipline. Candidates are expected to apply for extramural funding. The candidate will also serve as an academic advisor for Biology students, and will serve the department, college, and field. |
