We are seeking a Lab Technician under the direct supervision Dr. Jean-Michel Mongeau and Dr. Bo Cheng at Penn State University to develop new instrumentation to study insect, bird, and robot flight. For more details and to apply, click here.
Job Duties:
- Design, assemble and install custom hardware to study insect, bird and robot locomotion
- Code and adapt existing software in Python to install a real-time 3D tracking system using multiple high-speed cameras
- Calibrate system as per requirements
Requirements & Qualifications:
- B.S. or higher preferred
- Knowledge of Unix and programming in Python preferred
