Tenure-track Assistant Professor in Anatomy

The Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) is recruiting a scientist/educator at the Assistant Professor level in the Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology.  The successful candidate will do research in the area of functional morphology, movement science, and sensory/motor function and will teach anatomical sciences to medical students. The ideal candidate will have a research program that involves translational aspects in human sensory/motor function with great promise to acquire NIH and NSF funding.  Participation in histology teaching is preferred, but interest in contributing to teaching of gross anatomy/embryology and neurobiology will be considered.

 

The individual will become an active participant in NEOMED’s Musculoskeletal Research Focus Area (https://www.neomed.edu/research/musculoskeletal/), a group that includes research laboratories that approach the musculoskeletal system at multiple hierarchical levels.
