The Department of Biology at the University of the South (commonly known as Sewanee) seeks applications for an Assistant Professor in Integrative Biology. We seek a dynamic scholar who studies animals at multiple biological scales and whose research will meaningfully involve and engage undergraduates. We are especially interested in candidates who can contribute to courses in anatomy, physiology, organismal biology, ecology, or genetics. A PhD is required and post-doctoral experience preferred. Faculty typically teach 5 classes per year with lab sections counting towards that total.
