Ph.D./master’s student at Illinois State University

The BeatBrain Laboratory at Illinois State University is recruiting a Ph.D. or a master’s student for a research project on timing in birdsong. The student will start working in Fall 2024. The project presents opportunities to work on bioacoustics, operant conditioning, computer vision, computational modeling, field ornithology, phylogenetics, or neuroscience. It will include laboratory and field components, with opportunities to conduct field seasons in the tropics. We encourage applications from people from underrepresented groups in science.
