The Navara lab at Kennesaw State University is recruiting MS students to join our research team studying the teratogenic effects of food additives and environmental endocrine disruptors on the development of the endocrine and immune systems in chicken embryos.
Students will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in microdissection, hormone analysis, and transcriptome analyses, and will be given opportunities to present results at regional and national conferences. The MSIB (Masters of Science in Integrated Biology) program at Kennesaw is shared by the Department of Molecular Biology and the Department of Ecology, Evolution, & Organismal Biology. Students will have the opportunity to interact and collaborate with faculty across these fields as part of their program. Kennesaw is located in the metro Atlanta area northwest of the city at the foothills of the Appalachian mountains. This provides close access to both city life and natural resources.
