Annual Meeting Program and Abstracts

All registered attendees of the 2001 Annual Meeting will receive a copy of the Annual Meeting Program and Abstracts on-site at the SICB Registration/Information Desk located at the Chicago Hilton and Towers. Copies will not ordinarily be mailed prior to the Annual Meet-ing. They will be available prior to the Annual Meeting on the Web site at www.sicb.org and attendees can plan their activities from the web. The abstracts will be published as part of the next available issue of the American Zoologist.

Registration/Information Area

The SICB Registration/Information area will be located at the Chicago Hilton and Towers. The hours of operation are:

	Wednesday, January 3	2:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
	Thursday, January 4	7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
	Friday, January 5	7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
	Saturday, January 6	7:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
	Sunday, January 7	7:00 a.m.-Noon

Staff is available during these times to assist you with membership enrollment, on-site registration, conference materials, employment opportunity information, meeting room locations, and information on Chicago.

Employment Opportunities

The Employment Opportunity desk will be located in the SICB Registration/Information area. The Employment Opportunity desk will provide a place for attendees to post “Positions Wanted,” learn about “Positions Available” and schedule possible interviews. If you requested a form with your abstract, your r�sum� or c.v. will be included in the Employment Handbook. Interested attendees may schedule interviews in the room set aside for that purpose. See a registration desk attendant for assistance.

Message Board

A message board will be located at the SICB Registration/Information Area. All messages received will be posted in alphabetical order. Attendees may also leave messages and announcements for other attendees on the message board. Please contact the Chicago Hilton and Towers, (312) 922-4400, to reach the SICB Registration/Information Area.

Child Care

If you will be bringing children with you, please contact the concierge at the Chicago Hilton and Towers to arrange for recommended baby-sitting services.
